Easter Decorating Projects: Spheres and Topiaries!

Jelly Bean Spheres and Feathered Topiaries

For the spheres, I used styro balls, jelly beans and a hot glue gun:

The topiary supplies included styro cones, terra cotta pots, foam, Easter grass, feather boas, spray paint and a wooden dowel, which I sprayed green and cut in half:

The finished products look like this:

I also made Egg Topiaries

The $49 Martha Stewart version (pictured below) was my inspiration. Mine cost less than $15 each.
I started with carve-able eggs from Michaels, small urns, foam, dowels, silk hydrangeas, and pearl-headed pins:

Here's the end result:

Here's Martha's version:

UPDATE:
I decided to change my topiaries because I wanted a more uniform look, with eggs of the same color. Here's the new result:

Lastly, I made Rainbow-Colored Spheres

I started with styro balls, which I covered with joint compound:

After sealing them with Kilz spray, I spray painted them in different pastel colors:

Happy Easter!!!
